Apple’s Remedy For iPhone 4 Problem
Apple CEO Steve Jobs showed a presentation on Friday saying the iPhone 4’s reception problems have been “blown way out of proportion,” and added that free cases will be provided for all owners, which will fix the issue. Jobs also said that people who already paid for a case would get a refund. “We’re not perfect; phones aren’t perfect. We want to make all our users happy,” said Jobs. Free cases will be available at Apple stores until September 30. Jobs also said on Friday that the iPhone 4 remains “our best product ever,” having sold 3 million units despite the reception issue. Jobs told of other iPhone 4 news, saying a white version of the smart phone will be shipping by the end of this month, and the phone is planned to be released in 17 more countries on July 30.
